Oil jobs already starting to move overseas

Thanks to President Obama and the soon-to-be-reimposed drilling moratorium, our loss is becoming West Africa’s gain.

“Numerous operators told Secretary Salazar that they were in the final stages of moving rigs, deepwater rigs out of the Gulf of Mexico and to West Africa and the Middle East,” according to a person familiar with the matter. “We were frankly disappointed at the lack of serious attention that was paid by the Department of the Interior on the horrible economic impact that the Department of Interior’s policies are having on the industry and on communities along the Gulf Coast.” SOURCE

How can a man in his right mind shut down jobs in America while we’re still trying to create jobs and have millions of Americans on unemployment? How much long will the American people put up with such bad leadership from Barack Obama? What will the people that’s losing their jobs do Obama, please tell us! Using the BP oil spill to push your unwanted agenda is not what Americans need and now the Oil Wells in the Gulf is moving to other Countries!

Two Videos Showing Israeli Confrontation With Flotilla

America’s largest Muslim group CAIR is asking President Obama to condemn the deadly engagement between a supposed ‘aid’ flotilla attempting to deliver supplies to Gaza. As these two videos show, this flotilla, believed to have links to al-Qaeda, was warned by the Israel Navy repeatedly to conform to normal procedures for aid delivery. The ships refused. International activists aboard the ships then opened fire on IDF soldiers who boarded the ships to prevent them from breaking the Israeli-imposed sea blockade.

Netanyahu ‘Furious’ with Obama over Iran Policy

Washington’s unprecedented backing for a UN resolution for a nuclear-free Middle East that singles out Israel has both angered and deeply worried the Jewish state although officials are cagey about openly criticising their biggest ally.

The resolution adopted by the United Nations on Friday calls on Israel to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and urges it to open its facilities to inspection.

It also calls for a regional conference in 2012 to advance the goal of a nuclear-free Middle East.

Israel is widely believed to be the only nuclear power in the Middle East, with around 200 warheads, but has maintained a policy of deliberate ambiguity about its capabilities since the mid-1960s.

The document, which singles out Israel but makes no mention of Iran’s controversial nuclear programme, drew a furious reaction from the Jewish state who decried it as “deeply flawed and hypocritical.”

But it was US backing for the resolution which has caused the most consternation among Israeli officials and commentators, who interpreted the move as “a resounding slap around the face” which has dealt a very public blow to Israel’s long-accepted policy of nuclear ambiguity. READ MORE AT SOURCE

Video: Iran to Test-Fire Missiles That Could Hit Israel, U.S. Bases

The Guards on Monday will test-fire the surface-to-surface Shahab 3 missile, which Iranian officials say has a range of around 1,240 miles, potentially putting Israel and U.S. bases in the Gulf within reach, according to state radio. Read More
