American voters are able to see what the left really has in mind

As long as George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were responsible for keeping Americans safe, Democrats could pander to the U.S. and European left’s anti-antiterror views at little political cost. But now that they are responsible, American voters are able to see what the left really has in mind, and they are saying loud and clear that they prefer the Cheney method. SOURCE

Americans has awaken faster than the far left and Obama wanted, this is why Obama was pushing all his socialist policies so hard the first year. He knew for a fact that the voters could not be kept in the dark much longer than a year.

Korea Warns U.S. of Thousand-Fold Military Action
North Korea warned Wednesday of a “thousand-fold” military retaliation against the U.S. and its allies if provoked, the latest threat in its drumbeat of rhetoric in defense of its rogue nuclear program.

The warning, carried by the North’s state media, came hours after President Barack Obama declared North Korea a “grave threat” to the world and pledged that new U.N. sanctions on the communist regime will be aggressively enforced. Read More

North Korea warns of nuclear war

South Korea’s president ordered his top security officials Sunday to deal “resolutely and squarely” with new North Korean warnings of a nuclear war on the eve of his U.S. visit. In Washington, Vice President Joe Biden said “God only knows” what North Korea wants from the latest showdown.
President Lee Myung-bak travels to Washington on Monday for talks with President Barack Obama that are expected to focus on the North’s rogue nuclear and missile programs.

The trip comes after North Korea’s Foreign Ministry threatened war with any country that stops its ships on the high seas under new sanctions approved by the U.N. Security Council in response to its May 25 nuclear test. Read More

U.S. May Confront Ships Near N. Korea
The Obama administration said Friday it is prepared to confront ships believed to be carrying contraband materials to North Korea but will not try to forcibly board them, in accordance with new U.N. sanctions.

White House officials said they expect North Korea to act “irresponsibly” to the sanctions, imposed Friday by the U.N. Security Council in response to the communist nation’s recent nuclear tests. New Prison May Have To Be Built, Guantanamo Bay which cost tens of millions of dollars to construct, are likely to be “mothballed.” Gates Says

Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said yesterday that the Pentagon may have to build a new facility to house detainees from the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, to hedge against political opposition around the country to the incarceration of the inmates in existing federal or military facilities in the United States.

“I fully expect to have 535 pieces of legislation before this is over saying, ‘Not in my district, not in my state,’ ” Gates said, referring to the number of senators and representatives in Congress. He said the Pentagon wants to have $50 million at hand in case it has to build a prison on short notice.

In January, President Obama ordered the closure of the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, within a year. Gates said the facilities, which cost tens of millions of dollars to construct, are likely to be “mothballed.”
