‘Freedom of Expression’ vs. ‘Separation of Church and State’

June 20, 2008 · 2 Comments

What do you think people?

The way I’m reading this is that what Rev. Jeremiah Wright did was ok compared to what other church pastors do when they are backing John McCain.  Yes Jeremiah Wright was backing Obama and said so,  the Nation of Islam is backing Obama and has said so.   If one is guilty then they all are.

(abc news)  In an election where candidates openly discuss their faith and are regularly seen in churches, and a time when pastors’ sermons lead the politics sections of newspapers, one might be excused for not knowing that it is illegal for a church to endorse or oppose a candidate for president.

But when Booth addressed the members of his Warroad Community Church one Sunday in May and told them, “If you are a Christian, you cannot support a candidate like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton for president,” he very much knew he was violating the law. He even wrote a letter to the IRS explaining what he had said and challenging the tax collection agency to do something about it.

In 2007, the IRS investigated and dropped charges against United Church of Christ following a conference in which Obama was allegedly endorsed during an introduction. Obama formerly belonged to Trinity Church, a member of United Church of Christ, but split with the church following controversial comments by his old pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

“There is a very simple test religious leaders can use to determine if they’re violating the law,” said Rev. Barry Lynn, executive director of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. “Ask yourself: ‘Is what I’m doing intended to help someone’s candidacy?’ If the answer is ‘yes,’ don’t do it.”

Lies! Lies and More Lies! Obama with a fresh Lie!

June 16, 2008 · 5 Comments

Holy Cow, Obama never learns, he is still telling flips!  He lied big time against President Bush!  Obama you’re one big lier, one after another!  When will you learn?  We Americans have been lied to by you enough!

(DetNews)
Unlike George Bush, I won’t wait until the sixth year of my presidency to sit down with the automakers. I’ll meet with them during my campaign, and I’ll meet with them as president to talk about how we’re going to build the cars of the future right here in Michigan,” Obama said in his speech.

Bush actually met with the top officials of Detroit’s Big Three automakers in April 2003 in Dearborn.

The President met with General Motors Corp. chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner, then-Ford Motor Co. chairman and CEO Bill Ford Jr. and then Chrysler Group president and CEO Dieter Zetsche on April 28, 2003 for half an hour at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts in Dearborn.

The White House released a photo of the 2003 meeting that remains on the White House Web site. The three executives spoke to reporters after the meeting, which drew extensive media coverage.

“Barack Obama’s call for ‘new politics’ is officially over.

June 16, 2008 · No Comments

Foot in mouth comments of Obama is beginning to show his grooming by Jeremiah Wright.  Talking this way when he is for more control, for banning hand guns and closing all gun shops within 5 miles of parks or schools…which will close most all the gun shops.

(WSJ) John McCain’s campaign accused the Democratic candidate of playing the politics of fear. They also mentioned that Obama said he would use a gun that would be illegal under Obama’s plans to cut down on illegal firearms.

“Barack Obama’s call for ‘new politics’ is officially over. In just 24 hours, Barack Obama attacked one of America’s pioneering women CEOs, rejected a series of joint bipartisan town halls, and said that if there’s a political knife fight, he’d bring a gun,” McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement.

Obama made the comment in the context of warning donors that the general election campaign against McCain could get ugly.

We don’t need a president still wet behind the ears that we have to babysit and give him an Obama sock doll to play with!  Vote Mr. John McCain for President of The United States of America!

Almost 50 companies - including PepsiCo, General Motors, Wal-Mart, FedEx, Continental Airlines, Johnson & Johnson and Chase - and some labor unions sponsored Sharpton’s National Action Network annual conference in April.

Obama said: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” President Bush: “Dead or Alive”

June 15, 2008 · 6 Comments

Obama has now started talking like the Chicago street gangs when he says “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”.  If Americans don’t get upset over what Obama has said compared to what President Bush said about the “dead or alive” poster then there is no hope for the human race!  There is no way a family with young kids should ever vote for such a person!

Where did Obama learn all this gang street talk?  You decide!

Street Gangs — Chicago Based or Influenced

Chicago street gangs emerged in the 1960’s when a “youth group” called the Black P-Stone Rangers developed into a criminal organization.

The group was controlled by a 21-man commission, self-titled the “Main 21.” The leaders projected the group as a socially conscious, self-help organization that would help uplift themselves and their community

The perceived success of Fort’s Black P-Stone Nation resulted in the formation of many other street gangs, that claimed to be politically and socially motivated.
