Former Gitmo Inmate Leading Fight Against U.S. In Afghanistan!

A former Guantanamo Bay inmate is leading the fight against U.S. Marines in the Helmand province of Afghanistan, a senior U.S. defense official confirmed to FOX News on Tuesday.

Mullah Zakir, also known as Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, surrendered in Mazar-e-Sharif in Northern Afghanistan in 2001, and was transferred to Gitmo in 2006. He was released in late 2007 to Afghan custody.

Now as the United States is pushing ahead with the massive Operation Khanjar in the southern province of Afghanistan, Zakir is coordinating the Taliban fighters.

And does Obama understand that if he release more of the Gitmo prisoners that they will only go back on the battle field and kill more American young men and women? I don’t think he cares!

New era of transparency Obama said?

Despite President Barack Obama’s pledge to introduce a new era of transparency to Washington, and despite two rulings by a federal judge that the records are public, the Secret Service has denied MSNBC.Com’s request for the names of all White House visitors from Jan. 20 to the present. So much for government transparency promises by Obama…just another Barack lie for the record! People we need to remember all the lies that Obama the lier has made to the people come 2012. He has to be one of the biggest liers of all past presidents!

Senate votes to block funds for Obama’s Guantanamo closure

In a major rebuke to President Barack Obama, the Senate voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to block the transfer of Guantanamo detainees to the United States and denied the administration the millions it sought to close the prison.
The 90-6 Senate vote—paired with similar House action last week—was a clear sign to Obama that he faces a tough fight getting the Democratic-controlled Congress to agree with his plans to shut down the detention center and move the 240 detainees.
