Tea parties bring actions!

Michael Barone wrote about the effects the Tea Party movement is having on Washington D.C., lets hope that the democrats will feel the effects when they’re voted out of congress in November!

It’s not clear whether the tea partiers’ influence on Republicans will last as long as the antiwar cohort’s imprint on Democrats. But their concern the fact that government spending is on a trajectory to increase far beyond revenues seems likely to persist. Obama said. “They’ve got to feel confidence that their dollars are being spent wisely.” (Your little bit of a cut isn’t going to do it Obama)

Obama admitted that $100 million represents a minuscule fraction of his $3.6 trillion budget proposal, and will do little to erase the more than $1.2 trillion deficit that has become the rallying cry of fiscal conservatives.

The president acknowledged the public dissatisfaction with government spending that culminated in hundreds of anti-spending and anti-tax “tea party” protests nationwide last week.

“We also have a deficit, a confidence gap when it comes to the American people, and we’ve got to earn their trust,” Obama said. “They’ve got to feel confidence that their dollars are being spent wisely.” Read More

Obama how dumb and stupid do you think we American tax payers are? I don’t know about the rest but this American says you will have to do much better to make me feel confidence that our dollars are being spent wisely.” So far you have been on an unwise spending spree.
