Obama ‘Very Dangerous,’ Causing ‘Severe Damage’

One of the leaders of the nation’s influential Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) tells Newsmax that President Obama is “very dangerous” in his economic policies and his foreign policy is causing “severe damage” to U.S. standing in the world.

He pointed out that Southern Baptist make up a “disproportionate” membership in the Armed Forces and that the SBC strongly opposes any changes to military policies relating to gays in the military. He suggested that changes Obama has stated he will make would undermine military readiness because it could cause many evangelicals serving in the military to leave. SOURCE

Being a veteran I know for sure that I would not have joined the Military and would have got out if military policies as Obama calls for was passed in to law. Ever heard the old saying ” you turn out to be like the people you hang around”? Well this southern boy will not be hanging around gays.

Obama to Take on Military Gay Ban

As a candidate, Obama signaled support for repealing the law. To the disappointment of gay-rights supporters, he has yet to made a move since taking office in January. The White House has said it will not stop the military from dismissing gays and lesbians who acknowledge their sexuality.

I have news for you Harry..you said
Harry Reid “I do not believe we can afford to discharge any qualified individual who is willing to serve our country.”

Only 634 members of the military were discharged for being gay last year and if Obama ban “don’t ask, don’t tell” you will have many more than 634 young men and women that will not join the Military at all,  and then I guess you Reid and Obama will have to bring the draft back which is what you want.

The Day of Silence, which is sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (Public schools on April 17)

Parents must actively oppose this hijacking of the classroom for political purposes. Please join the national effort to restore to public education a proper understanding of the role of government-subsidized schools. You can help de-politicize the learning environment by calling your child out of school if your child’s school allows students to remain silent during instructional time on the Day of Silence.

Parents should no longer passively countenance the political usurpation of public school classrooms through student silence. Read More
