Republicans host a big rally In Washington against Democrats’ health care

Republicans host a rally against Democrats’ health care reform, calling on those who attend to track down their elected representatives in Congress and put pressure on them to think twice about voting for the more than $1 trillion health care overhaul.As a crowd of protesters shouted “kill the bill,” House Republicans on Thursday rallied opposition against the Democrats’ health care legislation, even as President Obama touted two major endorsements from doctors and seniors groups.

The president interrupted the daily press briefing Thursday to note that the American Medical Association and AARP had just endorsed House Democrats’ health care plan.

The American people are mad as hell over Obama and the democrats in congress trying to shove their government run healthcare down our throats. If the democrats pass this healthcare bill then I think they will pay a high price in lost of seats come 2010 elections and Obama will be a one term president. Its also time to boycott AARP because they’re showing who side they’re on and its not us seniors, AARP is sticking to the money side as their insurance sells would sky rocket into billion of dollars for them after Obama cuts medicare to seniors. You better fight back and fight with all your might or you will lose what benefits you get from medicare. And young people if you care for your parents and grand parents then you will say no to the democrats healthcare bill.

AARP lose Thousands of members over health care stance

About 60,000 senior citizens have quit AARP since July 1 due to the group’s support for a health care overhaul, a spokesman for the organization said Monday.
The membership loss suggests dissatisfaction on the part of AARP members at a time when many senior citizens are concerned about proposed cuts to Medicare providers to help pay for making health care available for all. But spokesman Drew Nannis said it wasn’t unusual for the powerful, 40 million-strong senior citizens’ lobby to shed members in droves when it’s advocating on a controversial issue. Read More

Maybe the AARP will understand that the seniors will stand up for their rights and if they want to keep their membership that AARP will need to look out for the seniors rights instead of supporting Obama and his government ran healthcare. I understand that the AARP has boycotted The Glenn Beck show and if thats the case they should lose many of thousands more members.

Did Obama Lie at Townhall Meeting in Portsmouth, N.H. ? You decide!

A group usually seen as one of Barack Obama’s allies in the healthcare debate AARP says the president went too far Tuesday when he said the seniors lobby had endorsed the legislation pending in Congress.

AARP is sensitive to the issue because polls show that Medicare beneficiaries are worried their health care program will be cut to subsidize coverage for the uninsured.

At the town hall in Portsmouth, N.H., Obama said, “We have the AARP onboard because they know this is a good deal for our seniors.” He added, “AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare.”

But Tom Nelson, AARP’s chief operating officer, said, “Indications that we have endorsed any of the major healthcare reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate.” Read More

This isn’t the first time that Obama has said someone was endorsing his policies when in fact they were not! Why does the man have to lie so much? He’s not a good example for our young people now is he?
