About 60 percent of American voters say they are losing both faith and confidence in President Obama, according to a public opinion poll published Tuesday.

The results of the Washington Post/ABC News poll are a 180-degree turn from the start of Obama’s presidency 18 months ago, with nearly 60 percent of those polled saying they lack faith in the commander-in-chief. In January of 2009, 60 percent said they were confident in his decision-making. Read more at: FOX NEWS

The tough assessment of Mr. Obama’s performance comes as he deals with military action abroad, high unemployment at home, weak stock and housing markets and the oil spill crisis in the Gulf of Mexico.

The poll also shows that only 43 percent of voters, including a third of Democrats, approve of Mr. Obama’s handling of the struggling U.S. economy. Keep reading at Voice of America

Are Democrats Losing Colorado? Looks That Way!

For Obama and Democrats, Colorado Becomes Less

Welcoming

The state embodies the uneasiness spreading throughout Democratic ranks as Obama struggles with major challenges and the 2010 midterm elections approach.

Today, the energy that powered Obama to victory has begun to dissipate. Some of his supporters remain on the sidelines; others are, if not disillusioned, questioning what has happened to his presidency. As they look toward 2010, Democrats are nervous. Gov. Bill Ritter, appointed Sen. Michael F. Bennet and at least one Democratic member of the House will probably face difficult election campaigns next year.

Roy Romer, a former Democratic governor, called the state of play “very much tougher” for Obama and the Democrats than it was a year ago. “The slippage is there, and it’s because things are tough and solutions aren’t easy, and they [voters] don’t see progress toward solutions,” he said.

“The political environment is tough for Democrats, tough for incumbents, tough for all politicians,” Mike Stratton, a veteran Democratic strategist based in Denver, said a few days ago.

He had all the answers back during the campaign and in his big speeches that someone wrote for him and after ellected, Obama has done nothing that has work to make Americans lives better. He will not stop spending, he will not stop the corruption in government such as ACORN. Obama will not listen to Americans, we don’t want a socialist government! We don’t want government ran healthcare. Yes the democrats will have many problems in 2010!

House Democrats See Healthcare Deal Hopes Collapse

Obama

The leader of a group of Democratic fiscal conservatives in the House of Representatives said talks on a U.S. healthcare overhaul bill fell apart on Friday and that he saw no possibility of a deal now.

Representative Mike Ross said that “after over a week of very intense and what I believe to be good faith negotiations … it pretty much fell apart this afternoon.”

Despite personal appeals this week from President Barack Obama and hours of negotiations with Democratic leaders and White House staff, the conservatives known as “Blue Dogs” said their concerns about containing medical costs had not been resolved. Read More

If I was a democrat and was up for re-election in 2010 no way would I vote for Obamacare or Cap and Trade because I would not want to go down with Barack Obama. Obama’s coattail will be very short by election time if he keeps on his far left liberal path. The American people will make a change in congress and get rid of those that are not listening to them.
