Dick Cheney Slams Obama To The Floor On Afghanistan Troop Decision

Obama “seems afraid” to make a decision on how to proceed in Afghanistan, Cheney said.

“Having announced his Afghanistan strategy last March, President Obama now seems afraid to make a decision, and unable to provide his commander on the ground with the troops he needs to complete his mission,” Cheney said

“It’s time for President Obama to make good on his promise,” the former vice president added. “The White House must stop dithering while America’s armed forces are in danger.”

While Obama drags his feet our young men and women are in danger. Obama says he’s waiting until after the Afghanistan elections, but I think he’s afraid he will upset the far left liberals. This decision delay is turning the Afghanistan War into another political veitnam surrender!

U.S. Empire in Decline

The United States’ growing debt burden means the American empire is on the decline while China is on the rise, says Harvard history professor Niall Ferguson.

“People have predicted American decline in the past. . . and been wrong,” he told Yahoo! News.

“But let’s face it. If you’re trying to borrow $9 trillion to bail out your financial system and economy and already half your public debt is held by foreigners, it’s not really the conduct of a rising empire, is it?”

He compared the United States to Spain in the 17th century and Britain in the 20th.

“Excessive debt is usually a predictor of subsequent trouble.”

The government debt burden is expected to total 56 percent of GDP this year.

While the U.S. is fading, China is rising, Ferguson says. “There is a fundamental relationship between economic change and political change,” he points out. Read More

I feel that Obama intended to bankrupt America from the start, just look back at what he has done over the last 9 months to put the country in debt to China!

300 Arrests Made in ‘Project Coronado’ Drug Cartel Raids

In the largest single strike at Mexican drug operations in the U.S., federal officials on Thursday announced the arrests of more than 300 people in raids across the country aimed at the newest and most violent cartel.
The officials said states where arrests were made or charges filed include Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington state.
