The federal government is launching a multimillion-dollar investment in plastic slides and monkey bars by using federal stimulus funds to build playgrounds nationwide.

Many of the playgrounds are being installed on the latest type of rubberized surfaces, funded by the $787 billion stimulus law.

His wife had died and he had no children. The local utility co. put a restrictor on his heat. He was late in paying his bill because he forgot that he wrote the check. When his friends came to check on him, he had frozen to death because the utility co. shut off his heat. A VETERAN!!! I hope we don’t hear more stories like this again this season.
