Obama said in his speech that he would not sign a healthcare bill that would add a dime to the deficit. Would you trust Obama not to sign a healthcare bill that added billions to the deficit if it was laying on his desk? Obama has lied so many times before so what would another lie mean to him?

This American says that Obama’s political career depends on him passing a healthcare bill and therefore he will sign a bill no matter how much it raise the deficit. What say you?

Obama is between a rock and a hard spot. He promised the far left liberals to end the war in Iraq and to go after Osama bin Laden. Now he has done nothing that he promise his base. We have to win the war in Afghanistan or it will send a message to the rest of the World that America is weak and no will power to win. The question is will Obama go against his far left liberal base or move to the center and win this war in Afghanistan and go after Osama bin Laden?   Will Obama put politics above all else?

Obama administration: US cities may have to be bulldozed in order to survive

Dozens of US cities may have entire neighbourhoods bulldozed as part of drastic “shrink to survive” proposals being considered by the Obama administration to tackle economic decline.

Mr Kildee said he will concentrate on 50 cities, identified in a recent study by the Brookings Institution, an influential Washington think-tank, as potentially needing to shrink substantially to cope with their declining fortunes.

Most are former industrial cities in the “rust belt” of America’s Mid-West and North East. They include Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Memphis. Read More
