Obama’s Hope Fades for Compromise on Health Bill

A leading GOP negotiator on healthcare struck a further blow to fading chances of a bipartisan compromise by saying Democratic proposals would restrict medical choices and make the country’s “finances sicker without saving you money.”

“I heard a lot of frustration and anger as I traveled across my home state this last few weeks,” said Enzi, who has been targeted by critics for seeking to negotiate on legislation. “People in Wyoming and across the country are anxious about what Washington has in mind. This is big. This is personal. This is one of the most important debates of our lifetime.”

Democrats also are calling for cuts in Medicare spending, using some of the savings to help uninsured workers. A House bill would result in a net reduction in Medicare of about $200 billion, though Obama has insisted the reductions would not cut benefits in the health program for the elderly.

Obama’s Sleazy Witch Hunt On CIA Interrogations

The only thing that’s different is Obama’s political position. He has offended his base by wavering  on the “public option,” and now he suddenly finds himself compelled, purely coincidentally, to reverse course on CIA interrogation methods in a way that just happens to appease his bitter, petty base with a vindictive witch hunt.

The random, fluke coincidences just never stop with the “post-partisan” candidate for “change.”

Never mind the fact that this sleazy partisan maneuvering is dangerously compromising national defense…or that Americans oppose this partisan charade by a 13-point margin.

ABC, NBC Won’t Air Ad Critical of Obama’s Health Care Plan
The refusal by ABC and NBC to run a national ad critical of President Obama’s health care reform plan is raising questions from the group behind the spot — particularly in light of ABC’s health care special aired in prime time last June and hosted at the White House.

The 33-second ad by the League of American Voters, which features a neurosurgeon who warns that a government-run health care system will lead to the rationing of procedures and medicine, began airing two weeks ago on local affiliates of ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS. On a national level, however, ABC and NBC have refused to run the spot in its present form.

“It’s a powerful ad,” said Bob Adams, executive director of the League of American Voters, a national nonprofit group with 15,000 members who advocate individual liberty and government accountability. “It tells the truth and it really highlights one of the biggest vulnerabilities and problems with this proposed legislation, which is it rations health care and disproportionately will decimate the quality of health care for seniors.” Read More

Black Group Comes Out In Support of Glenn BeckBOND Action, Inc., a national cultural action organization, has come out in support of FOX News Channel broadcaster Glenn Beck. Beck has been under attack from the radical left-wing group ColorOfChange.org after he said last month that he believes President Obama is “a racist.”

ColorOfChangeorg was founded by Van Jones; a self-described “rowdy black nationalist.” Jones now serves as White House environmental advisor (“green jobs czar”).

Palin Boosts Glenn Beck With Thousands of Facebook Friends
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin went Glenn Beck one better after he asked viewers to invite a friend to watch his popular show on Fox cable TV: She posted a Facebook message urging all of her friends to tune in.

Glenn returned to his show Monday after a week’s absence, earning this plaudit on Palin’s Facebook page Wednesday: “FOX News’ Glenn Beck is doing an extraordinary job this week walking America behind the scenes of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and outlining who is actually running the White House.”

She noted Beck’s exhortation Monday to invite a friend to watch, and added, “Tonight, I invite all my friends to watch.”

The page tabulator Thursday showed that almost 9,000 of her supporters said they answered her call to watch “The Glenn Beck Program,” while more than 1,800 had left comments. Read More

Glenn Beck is great at getting the truth out about Obama and the socialist plans the President has for all we Americans. It does not matter where we’re black or white, red or blue we will lose our freedom if we do not fight back.  The overreaching of the federal government is pushing the U.S. towards a revolution, Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) said today.  This I agree with!
