UPDATE: 24 JULY
Suspects charged today were also connected to an illegal human organ-selling ring
Officials say separate from the corruption probe, some of the suspects charged today were also connected to an illegal human organ-selling ring. Investigators say some charged would take cash payments to help find organs for sick patients in need of transplants. It’s unclear where the body parts might have come from or how many surgeries may have been done. The body parts scheme involved kidney transplants, authorities said. Patients in need would pay middle-men to find willing donors in Israel. Investigators said the suspects would then have the donor and patient lie to hospitals that they were related. Hospitals would then do the operation unaware that cash payments were part of the deal. Officials say Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick and Johns Hopkins in Baltimore were allegedly contacted by the suspects for these procedures. SOURCE
If we cleaned up all the corruption and money laundering including the big spending spree of Obama our Great Country would have more money than it knew what to do with.

Amen brother! Great Post and scary too. Thank God the donors were “willing”…
I wonder how this scandal may affect the growing tide of antisemitism. Should we be angrier that our political leaders or our spiritual ones misused our trust. I found an interesting discussion of the matter at pandalous: It’s here: http://www.pandalous.com/topic/how_to_deal_with
I notice that the page URL you gave above Claude had more about the Gates arrest than it did about the 44 people that was arrested. So first the gates arrest:
In a four-minute interview outside his home, Crowley revealed that:
Gates escalated the situation by yelling and refusing to calm down, calling Crowley a racist, and referring to his mother.
He was the police officer who tried to save the life of former Boston Celtics player Reggie Lewis, a black man, who collapsed and died during an off-season workout at Brandeis University. Crowley said he still is very shaken because of that event.
Crowley said he didn’t vote for Obama but supports the president 110 percent. He also suggested that the president was siding with his friend Gates, and he probably would have done the same in a similar situation.
Though he said he would do everything exactly the same way again, Crowley did express regret at the media attention and pressure the event has brought on his friends and family.
“I acted appropriately. Mr. Gates was given plenty of opportunity to stop what he was doing,” Crowley said. “He didn’t. He acted very irrational, and he controlled the outcome of that event.”
“There was a lot of yelling. There was references to my mother,” Crowley said. “Something you wouldn’t expect from anybody who should be grateful you’re there investigating the report of a crime in progress, let alone a Harvard University professor.” Read More
Now the 44 people that was arrested:
In all the news I read the picture was of the politicians mostly!
