Federal agents swept into New Jersey towns across several counties Thursday morning, charging 44 people–including three mayors–and religious leaders in a federal investigation into public corruption and money laundering.
Those arrested in the corruption probe include Mayors Peter Cammarano III of Hoboken, Dennis Elwell of Secaucus and Anthony Suarez of Ridgefield, all Democrats; Leona Beldini, one of three deputy mayors of Jersey City, also a Democrat; and state Assemblyman Daniel Van Pelt, a Republican. Read More

Officials say separate from the corruption probe, some of the suspects charged today were also connected to an illegal human organ-selling ring. Investigators say some charged would take cash payments to help find organs for sick patients in need of transplants. It’s unclear where the body parts might have come from or how many surgeries may have been done.
The body parts scheme involved kidney transplants, authorities said. Patients in need would pay middle-men to find willing donors in Israel. Investigators said the suspects would then have the donor and patient lie to hospitals that they were related. Hospitals would then do the operation unaware that cash payments were part of the deal. Officials say Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick and Johns Hopkins in Baltimore were allegedly contacted by the suspects for these procedures. SOURCE

Support for Republican congressional candidates has reached its highest level in over two years as the GOP lengthens its lead over Democrats in the latest edition of the Generic Ballot.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 42% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 38% would opt for the Democratic candidate. Read More

This Healthcare overhaul the Obama Administration and the democrat/socialists are trying to ram down the throats of Americans has more politics in it than the entire US Congress together!
We have somewhere between 12 million and 20 million illegal aliens inside the borders of the US right now, today. Under ObamaCare they would receive free healthcare just as the Americans who live here legally, work in the US, and pay their taxes. That’s right! 12 million to 20 million illegal immigrants will receive taxpayer-subsidized health insurance coverage. And consider this: The Healthcare plan being now in the Senate Finance Committee actually exempts illegal aliens from the mandate to buy insurance. You may recall that a part of the bill would make it mandatory that LEGAL citizens of the US have Health Insurance or be fined. But, hey, if you are in this country illegally, having broken in and violated the law, you can receive the same healthcare as the legal folks who are paying for in with the hard earned money they gave to the federal government in taxes. Oh, of course even though you are illegal you will be expected to support the Democratic Party. Oh, that last part (about supporting the Democratic Party) isn’t written down anywhere, but it is understood , even so.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said Tuesday that the health-care reform bill now pending in Congress would garner very few votes if lawmakers actually had to read the entire bill before voting on it.
“If every member pledged to not vote for it if they hadn’t read it in its entirety, I think we would have very few votes,” Hoyer told CNSNews.com at his regular weekly news conference.
Hoyer was responding to a question from CNSNews.com on whether he supported a pledge that asks members of the Congress to read the entire bill before voting on it and also make the full text of the bill available to the public for 72 hours before a vote.

Jewish leader, Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, says he was barred from attending the meeting because of criticism he aimed at Obama.
Klein’s White House contacts told him flat out that he was shunned because of his strong criticism of Obama. In his June interview with Newsmax, Klein said that Obama may be the “most hostile president to Israel” ever.
“They said to me, ‘How do you expect us to invite you to a meeting with the president when you keep criticizing the president?’” Klein says.
Klein found the White House response to him surprising, and “remarkable that the president has said he wants to be bipartisan and reach out to people who don’t agree with him and that he wants to hear all good ideas, even if they’re different from his.”
Klein also found it ironic that he was chastised for criticizing the president, and banned from a meeting with top Jewish leaders, at the same time Obama has argued for sitting down and negotiating with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
