UPDATE JULY 07 With Video – The White House Admits Americans Will Be Forced Out of Their Current Health Care Plans

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has already made clear that millions of Americans would be forced to give up the health coverage they currently have under the Democrats’ plan. Today, the White House CONFIRMED this is true.
“White House officials suggest the president’s rhetoric shouldn’t be taken literally …”
President Obama and congressional Democrats have made repeated promises that the American people “can keep their current health care coverage if they like it.” But an Associated Press story this morning reports that White House officials admitted that isn’t true:
Dallas Salisbury, head of the Employee Benefit Research Institute, called Obama’s promise “an aspirational statement” in the same story. Middle-class families have every right to be concerned about losing their health care, and the facts show that the Democrats’ government takeover of health care will force millions out of their current health plan.

Obama’s rating not so good!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 34% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-three percent (33%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +1. Only once (two weeks ago) has his rating been lower. Read More

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 45% now trust the GOP more to handle economic issues, while 39% trust Democrats more. Read More

The American people has come to know that Obama is not such a good leader of America and that he has just about bankrupt the country and looks as if he could get us into another war by his weak actions! Can anyone say “We need a change in Washington”?

Democrats Rebuff Obama on Guantanamo Closing!

The House on Thursday used the first spending bill for 2010 to notify the White House that it will not go along with President Barack Obama’s plan to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Already this week, the House showed its defiance of Obama’s goal of shutting down the facility by approving a $100 billion war-spending bill that stipulates that it will not allow the use of federal money to close Guantanamo in the final months of this budget year. That bill passed the Senate on Thursday and is heading to the White House. Read More

I know of a couple of my readers that will not like this because they wanted GITMO closed and the terrorist released onto the streets America. I myself am glad that some in congress has came to their senses on this issue. Now maybe they will wake-up to the fact that Obama is spending money that we don’t have and its being wasted!
