North Korea today said it would use nuclear weapons in a “merciless offensive” if provoked

“Our nuclear deterrent will be a strong defensive means…as well as a merciless offensive means to deal a just retaliatory strike to those who touch the country’s dignity and sovereignty even a bit,” said the commentary, carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.

It appeared to be the first time that North Korea referred to its nuclear arsenal as “offensive” in nature. Pyongyang has long claimed that its nuclear weapons program is a deterrent and only for self-defense against what it calls US attempts to invade it.

The tough talk came as South Korea and the US lead an effort at the UN Security Council to have the North punished for its nuclear test with tough sanctions. Read More

‘Play or Pay’ Democrats Health Care Plan

Senior House Democrats drafting health care legislation are considering slapping an unspecified financial penalty on anyone who refuses to purchase affordable health insurance, a key committee chairman said Monday.

In addition, officials said Democrats are considering a new tax on certain health insurance benefits as one of numerous options to help pay for expanding coverage to the uninsured. No details on the tax were immediately available, and no final decisions were expected until next week at the earliest.
These officials said drafters of the legislation will include a government-run insurance option as well as plans offered by private companies. The government option draws near-unanimous opposition from Republicans and provokes concerns among many Democrats, as well, although President Barack Obama has spoken out in favor of it. Read More

Americans will be forced to buy health care insurance under the plan of the democrats. The democrats are considering a new tax on certain health insurance benefits which will in fact make health care insurance more expensive for Americans. Come on people is this what you really want?

Voight blasted Obama as “a false prophet”

Peter Hamby: Actor Jon Voight, an outspoken conservative who stars in the popular television series “24,” emceed the event. In his opening comments, Voight blasted President Obama as “a false prophet” and “a soft-spoken Caesar” who bullies Israel and employed pleasant-sounding language to dupe the country into voting for him last November.

“Ayers, Wright, Pfleger, Alinsky,” he said, listing some of the liberal figures who became flash points in the 2008 race. “It didn’t matter one iota. Obama portrayed himself as a moderate, but turned out to be wildly radical.” Read More

Obama is a Muslim and has lied to the American people from the start of his campaign.
He has no experience and its showing it now that his spending spree is not working except to bankrupt America as Bin Laden wanted to do!
