I can’t remember the number but it is the hit them at their own game rule. Palin calls out for ethics. They use this against her by attacking her own ethics.

Rule #5 is also used: Ridicule the speaker in order to neutralize the message. Rahm and his merry men – George, Jim, Paul and Stan, did this with Rush’s smear campaign and continue to do the same to Palin.
