I didn’t catch where it said “three years”. Only spot I saw that mentioned was where the programs that were applying for grants, had to around for three years. Something along those lines. Then again, I got fed up about halfway through and decided to finish it later. *rolls eyes*

Either way, as someone who doesn’t believe that the government needs to have control over my child’s education (well, I don’t have children yet – but I’m thinking hypothetically and ethically here) .. the fact that the Commission that would be created by the Bill, has a purpose to consider whether or not mandatory service in schools is a good idea… disconcerts me.

How does that affect those in private schools? Those being home schooled? Heck, what about the parents’ whose children are in public school, but who don’t want the government telling them what to do otherwise?

*sigh*
