UPDATED Mar 09 – Obama Less Popular Than Bush After First Month in Office

President’s popularity, an inconvenient truth emerged Tuesday that seems destined to get ignored: after one month in office, George W. Bush was more popular than the current White House occupant.
For the first time since Gallup began tracking Barack Obama’s presidential job approval rating on Jan. 21, fewer than 60% of Americans approve of the job he is doing as president. In Feb. 21-23 polling, 59% of Americans give Obama a positive review, while 25% say they disapprove, and 16% have no opinion.

Almost exactly eight years ago, then newly-elected President Bush’s numbers were 62 percent approving his performance, 21 percent disapproving, and 17 percent having no opinion.
As such, regardless of how hard media are working to foster this view that this is the most popular president in the modern era, such is not the case.

39% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-one percent (31%) Strongly Disapprove.

75% are concerned that Obama’s proposed budget will lead to too much government spending. Read More

White House nightlife under investigation

Freedom Watch is seeking information from the federal government on who had input into bailout legislation and whether they got anything in return
Klayman said the reports of the partying at the White House, “with the likes of Steve Wonder and other high priced entertainment stars,” will be the focus of document requests being submitted to the General Services Administration. The requests will seek to determine how much taxpayer money is being used.

“Barack and Michelle Obama have been throwing taxpayer funded parties nearly every night with their ‘friends’ and supporters, with Michelle Obama even exhorting them not to ‘break’ White House property,” Klayman’s announcement said.

“This party atmosphere sends the wrong message to the American people. As the Obama-Clinton crowd party on, the American people are suffering greatly,” Klayman said.

And another one bites the dust: Charles Freeman out
Charles Freeman, Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair’s choice to head the National Intelligence Council, has withdrawn from consideration for the post in the face of strong opposition from Senate Republicans.

Freeman is the latest in a string of Obama administration appointees and nominees to withdraw in the past few months.

That was good news!

President Barack Obama’s appointment as head of a U.S. intelligence council has been identified by the Center for Security Policy as a member of the ‘Iran lobby’.

Also, government sources said Charles Freeman, a former U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia and appointed to head the National Intelligence Council, has expressed anti-Semitic views in government meetings. At one meeting, the sources said, Freeman turned to Jewish staffers of Congress and questioned their loyalty to the United States. Read More

Why would you think Obama would appoint someone like this to The United States intelligence council ? Some of the things Obama is doing makes this American wonder whats going on.
