This is the big question. Is Obama simply simple, or does he consciously plan to destroy the country? On the Right, our job is the same, either way — to stop him, by arguning the issues in Congress and in the court of public opinion. But people on the Left ought to be wondering whether they’ve elected a dope or a dynamiter. The more prudent course for “remaking America” will depend on how they answer.

And, on the windfarm front, the NRO crew remind us that the Obama's harebrained CARBON reduction scheme amounts to a huge tax increase (you'll pay for it via your electric bill, most painfully) that is not included in advertised budget figures.

Budget TRICKERY noted. This is mainly for econo-geeks, but, for those of us who like this sort of thing, it is the sort of thing we like. New tax revenue is overestimated, new spending underestimated. I do not think we can take this Obama fellow at his word.

I will have to agree on the side of rightlady on this! I like the truth over lies, I like the honest over being a crook and I like being down to earth person over a person that thinks he’s God Almighty!

Jindal did great within the background he had of talking into a camera compared to obama talking to a group of people.
