President Bush wanted to close down Gitmo? Aren't you supposed to start that with "Once upon a time..." and end it with "... and they all lived happily ever after"? goodtimepolitics: Seem that you are far off your rockers again larrys!

President Bush said Wednesday that he'd like to close the U.S. military-run prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where three detainees committed suicide Saturday. He said he was awaiting a Supreme Court decision about how terrorism suspects there could be tried. "I'd like to close Guantanamo, but I also recognize that we're holding some people there that are darn dangerous and that we better have a plan to deal with them in our courts," Bush said at a news conference in the White House Rose Garden. It was the second time in recent weeks that Bush has said he hoped to eventually shut down the prison, where 460 mostly Muslim foreigners are being held as unlawful enemy combatants. USA TODAY

Wonder where Obama was when President Bush was trying to find ways to shut down gitmo? Oh thats right Obama was campaigning for president and did not spend anytime at all in the senate so that he would know what was going on in this country. He’s still campaigning as he has spented very little time at the White House, over exposed I would say!
