‘Sanctions’ sought in eligibility case
President’s attorneys file motion demanding birth, college records be withheld from public

A high-powered team of Los Angeles attorneys representing President Obama in his effort to keep his birth certificate, college records and passport documents concealed from the public has suggested there should be “monetary sanctions” against a lawyer whose clients have brought a complaint alleging Obama doesn’t qualify for the Oval Office under the Constitution’s demand for a “natural born” citizen in that post. Eligibility issue: McCain checked but not Obama

February 10, 2009 – A lawsuit that accuses Congress of failing to investigate President Obama’s birthplace before approving the Electoral College vote giving him the presidency has been amended to include additional claims of rights violations, including unequal treatment, because Congress did such an investigation into GOP candidate Sen. John McCain.

That word comes from Mario Apuzzo, the lawyer handling the case on which WND previously has reported.

The case raises many of the same arguments as dozens of other cases that have flooded into courtrooms around the nation since the November election.

The case was brought by Apuzzo on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson Jr. It names as defendants Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress, the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

It just will not go away will it Barack? The only way Obama can get this off his shoulders is by proving his eligibility, which he has not done yet. Why did Obama have his lawyers fighting the law suits to keep from showing his birth cert.? There has to be a good reason for him to go to so much trouble.  Obama don’t you think its about time that you tell the American people what dark secret you’re trying to hide?

Move over Pepsi and Coke, there’s some new competition on the shelf

Here you go the new soft drink for a change you can count on!

India’s Hindu nationalist movement is launching a new soft drink made from cow urine.

The bovine brew is in the final stages of development by the Cow Protection Department of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), India’s biggest and oldest Hindu nationalist group, according to the man who makes it.

Om Prakash, the head of the department, said the drink — called “gau jal,” or “cow water” — in Sanskrit was undergoing laboratory tests and would be launched “very soon, maybe by the end of this year.”

FBI is considering shifting agents away from counterterrorism work to help sort through the wreckage of the financial meltdown

Pistole told Congress his investigators have 530 active corporate fraud investigations, and 38 of them involve some of the biggest names in corporate finance — cases directly related to the current crisis.

In addition, FBI investigators are tackling an even bigger mountain of mortgage fraud cases in which hundreds of millions of dollars may have been swindled from the system, he told lawmakers.

The FBI now has more than 1,800 open mortgage fraud corporate fraud investigations, more than double the number of such cases just two years ago.

There are so many mortgage fraud cases to investigate, he said, that the bureau is not focusing on individual purchasers, but industry professionals generating fraud schemes that could total as much as hundreds of millions of dollars.

“It is a matter of lawyers, brokers or real estate professionals that are systematically trying to defraud the system,” Pistole said.

Agents have even seen some instances of organized crime getting involved in mortgage fraud, he said.
