Check out the web site of Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert, he has an interesting plan. And, he happens to be the only member of Congress that I know personally.

I wrote one of my senators and asked what was wrong with Thune’s idea. We still owe hundreds of billions down the road, but, in the meantime, the money gets spent way faster. And that’s what the Spendulus is all about, right?

    From Arnold Kling

Why is the stimulus bill so filled with non-stimulus while it omits real stimulus measures, such as cutting payroll taxes?

I think the answer is that it is a reparations bill, not a stimulus bill. People who pay income taxes tend to vote Republican. People who live off taxes tend to vote Democratic. To the Democrats, the Bush tax cuts were a heinous evil …… Now, they are demanding reparations, with hundreds of billions of dollars to be paid into teachers unions and other members of the coalition that won the election.

Most of the bill makes no sense from a stimulus perspective. But all of it makes sense from a reparations perspective.

Big Government the Democrat way! There is no way that Obama and the democrats want the people to have more money. He i s buying votes from the big companies for 2012. Come on people we need to keep the phones busy letting our congressmen know that if they want the middle class income vote that they better not support Obama on this spending bill. Republicans need to hold their ground and vote against it, cause when spending don’t work Obama will have to take the blame for his own down fall.

  • Where I’m coming from!

As a person that's been around the country and seen what America was and now what she has became makes me sick. I keep up with the news and what's going on and try to state my opinion of the way I feel about the U.S. Government and the way it's dictating our every day personal lives. I'm not a conservative or am I a liberal, just call me a good American citizen that will vote for the person based on their past history. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the post I make.
