This should have been done five months back. A lot of banks look shaky only because of ill-advised accounting rules. They’re actually well on the safe side of solvency.

Great post! I can’t believe that so many people are convinced this “stimulus” is a good thing. I bet people even think that they will wake up to find a check in their mailbox. Like that lady all over the news who said Obama was going to pay her mortgage and her gas…get serious!
