Rep. Alcee L. Hastings D-Fla., has introduced to the House of Representatives a new bill, H.R. 645, calling for the secretary of homeland security to establish no fewer than six national emergency centers for corralling civilians on military installations
The broad specifications of the bill’s language, however, contribute to concern that the “national emergency” purpose could be utilized by the secretary of homeland security to include any kind of situation the government wants to contain or otherwise control.
Rep. Hastings created controversy during the 2008 presidential campaign with his provocative comments concerning Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
“If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Hastings said, as reported by ABC News. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through.” Read More
Americans we had better keep our eyes on the road, if not we shall slide into the Obama swamp of Kool-Aid drinkers!
Hmmmmm. The enumerated reasons for the camps are baloney, but that doesn’t mean Alcee is planning to put us clingy types into them. It’s been suggested that the camps are intended to quarantine victims of a bird flu outbreak. In any case, it’d be nice to know what the camps are really for, and whether Alcee is just being his own loopy self or is promoting some broader plan.
Being the person that Alcee is I would think that it would be for the lock down of Americans in case of big riots or protest! We have not needed such prisons until Obama got into White House!
But then again I agree that its more likely for emergency purposes, but who defines what the emergency is?
“If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Hastings said, as reported by ABC News. “Anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks. So, you just think this through.”
Yes, another black bringing out hatred. What a joke.
Below is the same comment I made on another site.
One might wonder if this is just a precursor to Obama’s civillian youth corp. or Obamajugend?
“Hitlerjugend”, or “Hitler Youth” Party / Obama Youth Corp

LOL at the poster, Bob. “Hope, Change, Snappy Uniforms.” Last I looked, the Obama Youth project was taking shape under the aegis of the Democratic Party, so maybe government sponsorship — sure to cause a fight — is no longer in the cards. Will still pose problems, though, and the government is still the chief sponsor of criminal enterprises like ACORN.
