Health care groups paid Daschle $220K
Daschle made nearly $5.3 million in the last two years, records released Friday show, including $220,000 he received for giving speeches, many of them to outfits that stand to gain or lose millions of dollars from the work he would do once confirmed as secretary of Health and Human Services.

Owing a hundred thousand dollars in back taxes seems a bit too much. What is it with these democrats? They don’t have any problem raising taxes on the rest of us. When it comes their turn to pay, they are looking for a pass. This really is shameful.
Just another cronie who did not pay their taxes! This is ridiculous! A person like me would be hauled in and penalized for not paying taxes, but I guess I am not in the right “crowd”, Democrats in Washington, D.C. Obama has a pretty low-life bunch in his cabinet! Daschle’s also in very tight with a student loan racket called EduCap. Never even heard of this outfit until today. They do business as a non-profit but make millions for their executives.
