Perhaps you would be happier if Colorado used the money to give breaks to the rich so they can support companies that send our jobs overseas ? It about time our tax dollars go to people that need help. Anti-Immigrant policies of the Conservatives will spell more elected Democrats in the 2010 mid-term elections.
1: We have been fighting that off for years now. This might just be the 2X4 that breaks the mules back, and the state voters might return to their senses. The state is out of money, and this measure would cost money…
2: Luke, it’s been going leftest nuts for a few years now. Mostly attributed to the invasion of lefty’s from California, and other places with similar goofy ideologies. We can only wait and see what damage the loons from the left will cause.

This is a phenomenon, I think. Bobos wreck a Blue state like CA, then decide that some luckless Red state, like CO, is the better place to live. In MA, they move to ME and become massholes. I know a totally left couple of government workers from NY who’ve retired to TN, because of the high taxes in NY. And they still vote left. I guess the idea is not to run out of Red states before they die.
