When socialists now crawling out of the Capitol woodwork finish “reforming” healthcare so party hacks instead of doctors decide what’s good for what ails you, are you ready to turn your head and cough?
With leftists now in lock-down control of Congress, just how impotent do you feel? Is your honeymoon with the maestro of “change” over?
When some precocious telejournalist pokes a microphone in your face and asks, “How does it feel?” will you have the strength left to holler, “Help!”
By then, it’ll be too late. It’s already too late to un-elect this president. Or the Congress he rode in on. And if you’re hoping that a shallow Republican minority and merely one more than a minyan of uneasy Democrats can hold back the Obama ocean, forget that.
The stimulus giveaway illustrates the futility of scattered minority amendments that are sent to the legislative shredder before the ink is dry. They are no match for the flume of leftist legislation spewing out of the Democratic spillway. Read More
We can thank John L. Perry for the above, he asked a very important question…Had Enough of Obama?
ARGH!!! When will you morons stop using the word Socialist as if Lenin is now in control of America. Any time any one mentions helping those who aren’t big business men in America, you guys pull out the Socialist card. It’s pathetic. You know damn well socialism is pretty damn far from what Obama stands for.
No futiledemocracy, sorry, but what the Obama et al are doing is textbook socialism. What most of us fear is that socialism, an economic system, usually leads to communism, a political system. Both are anti freedom and liberty at their core. It is not about ” big business men.” at all. Rather, it is about individuals, and their liberty to try, and freedom to fail.
Not only is our brand of conservatism/classical liberalism/divisiverightwingextremism or whatever you want to call it not about big business, it’s frequently anti-big business. Big business does just fine under the Yurpeen-style corporatist state that Obama aims for. Bankers and automakers get bailouts, agribusiness gets cheap Mexican labor, manufacturers and big construction outfits get “Buy American” requirements in the Crap Sandwich bill. Big business does just fine under lemon socialism. Unfortunately, it’s the small businesses, the job creators and innovators, that get dicked over. Capitalism is all about creative destruction, and all of a sudden we’re so scared of destruction that we’ll have no more creation. The US really will be like the sad, wee, dying nations of Old Yurp.
Whoops! Remember, it’s 647 pages, so people are still finding and decoding the little flyspecks of the swarming Dems. Here’s the end of welfare reform.
