CAC translated Mr. Ayers’s radicalism into practice. Instead of funding schools directly, it required schools to affiliate with “external partners,” which actually got the money. Dems have a sort of unwritten contract with the government school teachers. The teachers’ unions are enormously powerful in party affairs. While, as I said somewhere back there, I’m not inclined to worry too much about indoctrination by the left, at least in the government high schools, I may be wrong.
