North Dakota House Gives Fertilized Eggs Human Status
A measure approved by the North Dakota House gives a fertilized human egg the legal rights of a human being, a step that would essentially ban abortion in the state.
The bill is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision that extended abortion rights nationwide, supporters of the legislation said.

Officials with the incoming administration of Barack Obama have confirmed that he will indeed overturn a pro-life policy of President Bush on his first day in office. Despite campaigning on the rhetoric of wanting to reduce abortions, Obama will make one of his first actions promoting them globally.
Meanwhile, some 77 members of Congress have signed onto a letter asking Obama to back down from doing so.

Obama to Reverse Abortion Policy on Friday
Officials say President Barack Obama will sign an executive order on Friday ending the ban on federal funds for international groups that promote or perform abortion.

Yes, but here’s a case of Obama actually following through on a cause he believes in. Abortion seems to be the one issue that gets him up on his feet. Most of the time, his IL record shows him voting present on hot button issues, at least as long as they’re in the news, or voting left and then lying about it later, as necessary. But on abortion, going back to his IL Senate days, he’s always been willing to take an extreme stand and stick to it.
Well he’s far left and we have known it all along, but then the people voted him in any ways! The only way to conbat Barack Obama is two years from now vote out the democrats in congress and vote in republicans. Not only abortions, but watch out for his gun controls. The republicans better get together and start their campaign today for congress.
