The nation’s second-biggest consumer electronics retailer, said Friday it will liquidate its 567 U.S. stores (Large Job Lost)

Bankrupt Circuit City Stores Inc., the nation’s second-biggest consumer electronics retailer, said Friday it failed to find a buyer and will liquidate its 567 U.S. stores. The closures could send another 30,000 people into the ranks of the unemployed.

Other recent casualties include KB Toys, which filed for bankruptcy in December and is liquidating stores. Department store chains Goody’s Family Clothing and Gottschalks Inc. both filed for bankruptcy this week—Goody’s plans to liquidate, while Gottschalks hopes to reorganize.

Socialist Carol Browner, Obama’s ‘climate czar’, has Racist troubling past

Barack Obama’s pick for his new “climate czar”, Carol Browner, is an odd choice for this influential post.

Not because her radical views about global warming and economics don’t line up perfectly with the latest far Left fads, but because her background is marred by incidents of racial discrimination that happened on her watch at her last big Washington job.

According to a February 2001 report in TIME magazine, the EPA was plagued with “festering racial problems” during Browner’s time in charge.

Dr. Coleman-Adebayo lamented in a recent interview,

“The very woman I prevailed against in court is being elevated to a White House decision-level position.”

At least 150 EPA employees filed similar lawsuits during Browner’s time there. In one particularly bizarre incident, blogger Shawn Mallow notes, “Anita Nickens, an EPA specialist, and the only black present during a visit of Mrs. Browner, was told to clean the toilet prior to her arrival. Afterward, the rest of her white co-workers bragged about it.” Read More

Is this what you voted for black Americans? It does not sound like Carol Browner cares much about the black Americans so why would Obama pick someone thats against the blacks? Anyone in the US government should be for all Americans, not just a few! Carol Browner is a pinhead!

Fla. Univ. Pays Terrorist Thousands, Obama Associate Gets Your Tax Money!

A major public university paid a renowned domestic terrorist—who proudly admits planting bombs in several U.S. government buildings—thousands of dollars to speak on campus this week and administrators violated academia’s sacred free-speech policy by forbidding protestors. 

Claiming that Vietnam-era radical William Ayers, once a fugitive from U.S. justice, is an “education reformer,” administrators (whose salaries are financed with tax dollars) at Florida State University enthusiastically lured him to their sprawling Tallahassee campus with a $5,000 reward to spread his radical agenda.

Even Barack Obama, a close Ayers associate, distanced himself from the aging radical who teaches at a public university in Chicago. Ayers has long supported Obama’s political career by donating money to his campaigns and hosting fundraisers at his Chicago home and for years the two men hung out in the same political and social circles.Read More
