Vandals struck four Chicago-area synagogues – Protesters were arrested in a pro-Palestinian rally Sunday afternoon in New York

Vandals struck four Chicago-area synagogues early Saturday morning, shattering glass doors and windows with bricks and rocks and spray-painting anti-Israel graffiti.

The caretakers at Lincolnwood Jewish Congregation in the normally quiet village of Lincolnwood just outside Chicago woke up to the sound of shattering glass and saw two adults running through the synagogue’s parking lot in ski masks. Four bricks were thrown through the building’s front doors, but the vandals were unable to gain entry.

“Death to Israel Free Palestine,” was the message left behind on the walls in bright orange spray paint.

  1. See, they have to vandalize places of worship, because the Israelis have all the tanks and planes.

Just kidding. Hope they catch the worms.

  2. I hope they catch them too, but did I read it right that this happened here in the US?

“Death to Israel Free Palestine” Seriously? Go to Israel and spray paint it there! WTF!?

Did the Palistinians come here specifically to hold a rally? If that’s the reason you came, go back home. I’m tired of these marches, rallies, protesters, blah blah blah! Quit whining and get a job! I know all about freedom, I’ve been defending it for the last 12 years, but this is getting ridiculous! You want to have a violent rally go to Palestine!

  3. By what CNN News (and I think the other one was a Israel news site) said it happen right here on our home ground. I think there are people that stand by waiting for something to protest, anything it don’t matter to them!

  4. Ever notice the people abusing their rights and freedoms are the ones that had nothing to do with defending it? That’s as bad as that baptist church that was protesting funerals of military members killed overseas. Saying God hates America, and the military deserves to die. Opinions are like a**holes, everyone’s got ‘em and some of ‘em stink…..I just wish people would think before they act.
