A Maryland grand jury on Friday indicted Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon (DEM) on 12 criminal counts

A Maryland grand jury on Friday indicted Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon on 12 criminal counts, including theft and perjury, for alleged official misconduct beginning when she was a councilwoman.

A number of the charges relate to gifts that prosecutors say Ms. Dixon received from developers, including her former boyfriend, Ronald Lipscomb, and didn’t properly disclose. Mr. Lipscomb isn’t named in the indictment but was charged with bribery this week in Baltimore. His lawyer has said he is innocent. Read More

2008 Bailouts Exceeds Combined Costs of All Major U.S. Wars

Yes I know, I know that Barack Obama has more bailouts to add to the already growing list. Yes I know that its 2009 and Obama and the democrats are still spending billions of dollars on their great give away!
This great give away of Obama’s is no different than if a crook got into your personal bank account and started giving your money away. “Smile and spend boys, smile and spend”

The total value of the bailouts undertaken by the federal government in 2008 now exceeds the combined cost of every major war the United States has ever engaged in.

According to CRS, all major U.S. wars (including such events as the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, but not the invasion of Panama or the Kosovo War), cost a total of $7.2 trillion in inflation-adjusted 2008 dollars.
The bailouts could put U.S. taxpayers in a tough spot in the future, said Pete Sepp, spokesman for the National Taxpayers Union. Read More

If Obama and the democrats gets their way on this bail out our children and grandchildren and maybe greatgrandchildren will end up paying the debt that is left for them. The left liberals and groups such as moveon.org and “pinkys” have been trying to scare the American people about the debt that Iraq will leave for our children, well they need to start complaining to Barack Obama and his big spending.

Obama Meets With Nine Mayors Who Want $10 Billion – (Is your mayor named here?)

 Miami Mayor Manuel Diaz is asking for the most federal tax dollars, a total of $3.2 billion. for Grapeland Flowrider, a new water park attraction, dirt-bike trails, parking garages at the Orange Bowl and city park that would include a new pool and a sports and fitness center.
 

Philadelphia Mayor Mark Nutter, who wants $2.6 billion in funding; Charleston (S.C.) Mayor Joseph Riley, who wants $1.06 million; Akron Mayor Don Plusquellic, who wants $925 million; Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker, who wants $779 million; Louisville (Ky.) Mayor Jerry Abramson, who wants $620 million; Trenton Mayor Douglas Palmer , who wants $593 million; Columbia (S.C.) Mayor Bob Coble, who wants $249 million; and Washington, D.C. Thats wasn’t all the mayors that is asking for handouts there is many more, the mayors of all 641 cities are asking for $96.6 billion in federal funds for 15,221 municipal projects. Someone has got their fingers into the safe where all the American people keeps their money and is spreading it around for senseless projects. I would be a shame of myself if I had voted for someone to become president that said he was going to do such a thing with our tax money. There is no way I would ever hold my head up and say that I voted for Obama!  Sarah Palin you’re looking great!

Just to answer Michelle’s question below…What’s shaking in your World? My answer is: I think Barack Obama should be shaking wondering where the next scandal will come from. Sow seed and they will sprout behind you.
