$5 billion for a bailout of the adult entertainment industry? (Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild)

Another major American industry is asking for assistance as the global financial crisis continues: Hustler publisher Larry Flynt and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis said Wednesday they will request that Congress allocate $5 billion for a bailout of the adult entertainment industry.
Francis said in a statement that “the US government should actively support the adult industry’s survival and growth, just as it feels the need to support any other industry cherished by the American people.”

What will Obama and the democrat control congress do, let this industry go bankrupt or bail out?  All I can say is if the democrats bail these people out, they will have alot to explain to the American people!

Bail Out? toilet paper, paper towel rolls, trash bags and 60, 100 or 150-watt light bulbs.

A Detroit elementary school is asking for donations of toilet paper and light bulbs to keep their school functioning.

The letter asks for toilet paper, paper towel rolls, trash bags and 60, 100 or 150-watt light bulbs.

Parents said a letter went out asking for supplies at the start of the school year.

“They sent out a letter for pencils, pens, they put Kleenex on there,” said parent Danny Huddleston.

A spokeswoman for the district said the school is not running out of supplies but instead is asking for them to ensure they have sufficient supplies to what they already have. Read More

Colorado Becomes First to Have 2 Black Legislative Leaders

Sharecropper’s grandson Terrance Carroll was chosen Wednesday as speaker of Colorado’s House of Representatives, making the state the first in the nation where blacks lead both chambers of its Legislature.
