Obama better think long and hard about this, if it happens then the draft will have to be restarted. There will be many that will get out of service and many more that will not enlist in the first place.

Lawmakers and Experts Question Obama’s Stimulus Package (Tax Cuts?)

At least two tax cuts that are part of Barack Obama’s stimulus package have been criticized by lawmakers.

Both Democrats and Republicans have questioned a provision that would provide a $3,000 tax credit to companies for every job created and, possibly, for every job spared.

Another Obama provision, a $500 credit for middle-class taxpayers, may face significant revisions, if it survives the final cut. Obama has proposed distributing the benefit over the course of a year.

Seem that many lawmakers don’t like all of Obama spending spree! I hope that the American people that voted for Obama see just what they are getting out of this stimulus package, people you’re not going to get much of anything. Tax cut my foot, its a one time welfare hand out and giving it out over the span of a year…what a laugh! Yes we can!

Supreme Court Conference to evaluate claims president-elect isn’t qualified – JAN 09 2009

A conference is scheduled Friday at the U.S. Supreme Court during which justices will consider behind closed doors – again – taking up a case that could put to rest the questions about whether President-elect Barack Obama qualifies to occupy the Oval Office under the Constitution’s requirement that he be a “natural born” citizen.
The lingering questions continue to leave a cloud over the impending presidency of a man whose relatives have reported he was born in Kenya and who has decided, for whatever reason, not to release a bona fide copy of his original birth certificate in its complete form.  Read More

No matter what the ruling in the end, the U.S. Supreme Court should at least hear the case! This would be making sure that the U. S. Constitution is upheld. Friday is the big day and we will see if the U.S. Supreme Court is worthless or not!
