“Why did President-elect Obama not release this letter? What else is he hiding?”(Blagojevich scandal)

“These documents tend to undermine Obama’s claims that he had no contact with Blagojevich and suggest his transition is hiding documents about such contacts,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Why did President-elect Obama not release this letter? What else is he hiding?” Source with documents

Yes what else are you hiding Barack?

  1. What a load of crap.

Obama met with ALL the governors in Philly on December 2 to discuss issues related to the economy.

Neither letter obtained by Judicial Watch has any mention, reference, or inference about Obama’s vacated Senate seat. NONE.

Obama didn’t say that he had never ever had any sort of communication with Blagojevich. That would be ridiculous. The office of a U.S. Senator from Illinois and/or a President Elect has all sorts of legitimate reasons to be in contact with a governor’s office. Obama said he had never had any communication with Blagojevich with regard to the appointment of a replacement Senator from Illinois.

Obama was/is doing his job, and you nutjobs are trying to twist this into something sinister.

Buy a vowel. Get a life.

  2. Obama didn’t say that he had never ever had any sort of communication with Blagojevich.

No, at the Dec 9 presser, the Obama claimed he had had “no contact” with Blagojevich. Yes, a ridiculous claim, as you’ve noted, but he made the claim all the same.

Buy a vowel and shove it up your ass.

  3. The point I’ve been making — and I’ve said it many time in the past — is that I had no sexual contact with Gov. Blagojevich.

  4. The topic was “pay for play” when Obama was speaking, and he said he had no contact.

Yu guys are just super at parsing words, but horrible at understanding any kind of context.

Buy two vowels… you evidently need the head start.

  5. Yes, you need a lot of context when interpreting the sayings of the Obama.

For example, when he says “no contact,” what he’s really saying, in the proper context, is “contact.”

    I get it.

  6. Note that I’m not saying that the contacts so far revealed implicate Obama in anything at all. I’m saying that panicky misstatements like “no contact” — or like Bill Ayers’ being just a guy in the neighborhood, for another example — don’t fill me with confidence.

  7. Gosh, I wish all our politicians were blessed with the ability to say exactly the right thing in exactly the right words, all the time, the way you do.

An unwillingness to recognize context is a serious flaw.

  8. What else is he hiding? How about:
    His birth place
    His medical records
    His school records
    His Illinois voting records
    His REAL agenda
