Black Ministers Support Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s controversial Senate appointee Roland Burris in Chicago

Dozens of clergy members have gathered in Chicago to show their support for Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s controversial Senate appointee Roland Burris as he readies to leave for Washington.

About 60 ministers met at a church on Sunday evening, called together by Democratic Rep. Bobby Rush. At a news conference, Rush condemned Senate Democratic leaders for rejecting Burris.
