Example: Stop at the store on the way home from work instead of going home and going back out.

I think that if the federal gvt. does issue a gas tax… it should be at the pump.
The gas tax should NOT include diesel.
Here’s what’s fair:
The more you drive, the more you pay. It gives you more control.
The more gas your SUV, Hummer, Dodge Ram guzzles… the more you will pay.
If you choose to drive a gas guzzler… you’ll pay more than someone who chooses to drive an economy car.
That’s fair.
Don’t like it? Then drive less and drive smart.

Ending dependency on foreign oil is drilling for our own oil! Obama and the far left liberals are nuts for Renewable Energy such as corn becaiuse they have money invested in these companies and our tax money is keeping them floating above water barely. A bushel of corn was $8.00 and it takes two bushels to make a gallon of fuel..that looks like $16.00 a gallon at the start and now add taxes and wages….wow better make cars that run off nothing but air!

Just because buses and planes burn diesel does not mean that it shouldn’t be taxed just the same as gas at the pump! The Government has brought thousands and thousands of these so called economy car that burns Renewable Energy such as food corn and guess what the Government burns gas from the pumps in these cars just like you and I do!
