Arab apologists are wonderful at lying.
On 9/11 Ashwari was asked about palestinians dancing in the streets in celebration during an interview on CNN. She denied it was occuring even when confronted with a live feed from Arab occupied Israel.

That term is just as correct if not more so than Israeli occupied territory.

The territories are not illegally occupied but their true status is : “disputed”.

The reason for that is generalized anti Israel racism and pan Arab petrodollars.

No mention is made of the Jews dispossessed and evicted throughout the Arab world.

No mention is made of the fact that Jordan refused settlement of “palestinian” Arabs.

No mention is made of the fact that the majority of Palestine (Jordan) is in minority (hashemite) arab hands that dispossesed their own people.

No mention is made of the fact that most of the exploding arab squatters are not originally from palestine.

No mention is made of the fact that in the 1800s the majority population of Jerusalem was Jewish and it was Arab violence that reduced that number.

That’s death by a thousand cuts for Israelis. They chose to put an end to it in the span of 3 weeks and the Left wing media and geniuses like Rosanne Barr call it a massacre lolol. Since 2002, there’s a Saudi-sponsored plan that’ll never fly. Calls for return of Golan (too important militarily, although the Olmert governemt has fooled with the idea), partition of Jerusalem (too important sentimentally), and implementation of the antique “right of return” UN resolution, something neither Israelis nor Palestinian Arabs would accept.

And, of course, while it may have been expedient to relinquish most of the conquered territory, it’s not really incumbent on Israel to give any of it back.

Its (The Darool-Uloom Deoband) base in the northern Indian town of Deoband has become synonymous with dogmatic and violent fundamentalism.

I’m glad Ali Baba and his 40 or so followers are protesting and fatwaing across the ocean, but the message isn’t getting through in our own country. And before you start listing articles and quotes about the 1000 protesters in Detroit, I’m talking a really “substantial” outcry (on the order of, for example, the he-she’s in SF put up every time “Trans-gender” facilities in the kiddie park are lacking)

The Darool-Uloom Deoband, a 150 year-old India-based institution that holds influence over thousands of smaller Islamic schools across the subcontinent, many of which have attracted British students in recent years, issued the fatwa at an outdoor peace conference attended by thousands of clerics and students in Delhi.

Most of the Taleban leadership attended Deobandi-influenced seminaries based in Pakistan. The movement has been recognised by analysts as a key force behind jihadi madrassas — traditional schools that promote terrorist violence — in several countries, including the UK.

“The religion of Islam has come to wipe out all kinds of terrorism and to spread the message of global peace,” the Darul-Uloom grand mufti Habibur Rehman said in the fatwa.

“Islam rejects all kinds of unjust violence, breach of peace, bloodshed, murder and plunder and does not allow it in any form”.

umm luke, again i guess ur comments can come from ignorance.
I have actually lived in the middle east. Try finding out people who have lived in arab countries such as saudi arabia and find out their experiences.
In fact, if you have a facebook account, try finding a group called saudia city. It was a community of foreigners that lived together in saudi arabia.
it consisted of countless number of americans and other foreigners.
Im sure you’ll come across comments such as the best years of my life, or i wish i could go back just for the memories.
Give it a try.
Just one example. Or in fact, jump on a plane and hop on to dubai, sharjah or saudi arabia.
im sure you will be pleasantly surprised with what you find.
