Will Barack Obama Keep You Safe From Terrorist? (What no comments from you liberals, I didn’t think so!)
Long waits for immigration and more restrictive European refugee and asylum programs will cause more foreigners to try to enter the U.S. illegally. Increasing numbers of Iraqis are expected to migrate to the U.S. in the next five years; and refugees from Somalia and Sudan could increase because of conflicts in those countries, the assessment said.
Because there is a proposed cap of 12,000 refugees from Africa, officials expect more will try to enter the U.S. illegally as well. Officials predict the same scenario for refugees from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Intelligence officials predict the pool of radical Islamists within the U.S. will increase over the next five years due partly to the ease of online recruiting means. Officials foresee “a wave of young, self-identified Muslim ‘terrorist wannabes’ who aspire to carry out violent acts.”

The al-Qaida terrorist network continues to focus on U.S. attack targets vulnerable to massive economic losses, casualties and political “turmoil,” the assessment said.
This American does not think that we will be safe from terrorist for the next 4 years under the leadership of B. Hussein Obama. Barack being wet behind the ears inexperience plus the Carter like policies of his will make a terrorist attack more likely. We can only hope that congress will keep Barack from passing policies that will hurt this country, which under liberal control the congress most likely will be useless! At least Jimmy Carter can be glad that Obama is president, cause after 4 years Carter will no longer be known as the worst president in history, Obama will be!

Despite Bushie’s rhetoric to the contrary, a President doesn’t keep us safe from terrorists. There are thousands of individuals that do that, and they’re not going away.
Are you really stupid enough to think that Obama will intentionally act to decrease our security? If so, you’re nuts. That kind of thought only stems from your absurd notion that Obama is a Muslim terrorist mole, born in Kenya, trained in Indonesia, and ready to open the floodgates for al Qaeda in America.
Rubbish.
If anything, I MIGHT feel safer with President Obama than Bushie. Time will tell. But Obama seems to understand that America’s standing in the world tends to diminish with our almost constant flexing of our muscle. Every time we kill a “potential terrorist” in Iraq, we manage to create ten more worldwide.
Besides, Bushie already spotted Obama a huge advantage: unless and until we have another 9-11, Bushie is guaranteed of holding the record for being the President who allowed the biggest terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

Your opening sentence tells us Mr. Bush cannot keep us safe while your closing tells us he allowed us to be attacked! Which is it? In fact, Mr. Bush has, with his efforts, kept us safe since 9/11; policies enacted on his predecessor’s watch permitted that day of infamies. It will not take acts of commission on Mr. Obama’s part to decrease our security; it will be acts of omission that prevent closing of holes in our security net.
