  1. diogenes says:

No, Bushie compromised his soul for several lesser reasons, and he still was unpopular, His attempt to rewrite his history on his way out the door is despicable.

His epitaph should be “So what?” He said it himself and oh, how accurate and revealing!

goodtimepolitics: He has kept your as_ safe for many a year now! Did you see the list of attacks that has been stopped because of President Bush war on terrorist! If not you should and then thank the man that you are safe today!

  2. diogenes says:

Yeah. He saved us on 9/11, too, didn’t he?

He’s quick to claim credit for post-9/11, but he disclaims any responsibility for 9/11, even though the FBI and his own counterterrrorism people tried to warn him.

It’s like the New England Patriots last year. They won every single game… except for the “big one” when it really counted.

I’ll give Bushie credit for keeping us safe if and only if he takes the heat for missing the one he missed. Which he never will.

goodtimepolitics: The plans for the 911 attack was started and just about completed on Dem Bill Clinton watch.

“He’s quick to claim credit for post-9/11, but he disclaims any responsibility for 9/11, even though the FBI and his own counterterrrorism people tried to warn him.”

Pardon me? Is this more stuff from your secret files, or more speculation? Must be secret stuff, since we know you don’t speculate.

  4. diogenes says:

Try reading Richard Clarke’s book, for starters. Bush got a NIE warning and the FBI office in Minneapolis (I think it was) got wind of the whole commercial pilot training that some of the 19 terrorists were taking, but it was dismissed.

goodtimepolitics: Who is Richard Clarke? Books everywhere what kind or what do you want a book to say, it can be found!

  5. lukemcgook says:

Oh, Richard Clarke was a recurring character in the 9/11 investigations, a Clinton holdover in some intelligence capacity, as I recall. His story changed all the time. Not something that matters.

  6. diogenes says:

Richard Clarke was a thirty year govenrment employee. He started with Ronald Reagan, continued with George H.W. Bush. He was the counterterrorism advisor for the National Security Council in both the Clinton and Bush White Houses.

    His story hasn’t changed.

And he’s also the only member of the Bush White House that’s ever apologized to the families of the victims of 9/11.

Now the funny thing is that either you guys are doing a superb job of playing dumb (not that it’s that hard for you) in an effort to minimize Clarke’s recollections OR you really have no clue who he is.

The book is named “Against All Enemies”, GTP, but I warn you: it doesn’t come in comic book form. And it’s got lots of big scary words.

goodtimepolitics: In other words he laid around and was fed by the government for thirty year, darn what a no good person to do such a thing! He didn’t have to carry a rifle or anything like that I guess! You keep talking about comic books so you must know alot about them! Do they still print such a thing!

  7. diogenes says:

Nice job ignoring all the facts, GTP, with your tangential personal attacks. Your motto is “Do as I say, not as I do”, eh?

You don’t have a clue who Richard Clarke is, do you?

  8. lukemcgook says:

I don’t think I’ve heard anyone besides di even mention Clarke in years. He was kind of a figure of fun on the right, and I think the MSM finally got tired of him, too.

  9. goodtimepolitics says:

So diogenes are you all there? Its ok for you to attack me for serving my country by being in two branches of the military and working for the other which was the Navy during war time I remind you and now you are defending someone for working for the government for 30 years! Don’t you mean laying around being fed?

  10. diogenes says:

Clarke isn’t flapping his gums about “Big Government” and “creeping socialism”; you are. I don’t have any problem with lifelong civil servants, unless they’re hypocritical enough to whine about expanding goverment!

Minimize what Clarke said, luke. Anybody you never read is unimportant. Which means just about anybody who’s written a book, apparently. It doesn”t surprise me that you haven’t heard of Clarke, as Clarke was pretty critical of the Bushie Regime’s failure to see 9/11 coming and, even worse, how Bushie’s and the Big Dick’s fixation on Iraq hampered efforts to protect America against al Qaeda and other terrorists, by chasing a meaningless shadow in Baghdad… simply because it would avenge Bushie’s dad AND make a ton of money for the Big Dick and Halliburton.

But please, don’t read anything Clarke wrote, or read anything anybody said about what Clarke wrote. If ignorance is bliss, you guys must be ecstatic!

    Clarke isn’t flapping his gums about “Big Government” and “creeping socialism”;
goodtimepolitics: So if I don’t agree with your way of thinking then that gives you the right to attack me for serving my country all my life! You are about as stupid as they come diogenes. Need to read what I just posted! It will make you attack me more! LOL

  11. lukemcgook says:

Don’t understand the hypocrisy charge. Why can’t a government employee object to monster government?

Incidentally, I’m quite familiar with Clarke and his accusations. It’s just that I didn’t realize anyone still took him seriously. He used his moment in the spotlight to peddle his book.

And, listen, we can rehash the left nonsense version of the Iraq war from now until the end of time. Let’s bring things up to date. When do you think Obamalama will be bringing the troops home?

  12. goodtimepolitics says:

Does anyone see the color pink?

  13. lukemcgook says:

Pink. Pink and green. Pink and green are the colors I see for America’s future.

    And I see a rainbow.

  14. goodtimepolitics says:

    Code Pink….what a color! LOL

  15. farside67 says:

Me a black man and I also served in the military so did I lay around and get fed by the government? I worked for my military pay.

  16. lukemcgook says:

Yep, you gotta stay alert and get involved. The people who run things for us aren’t very good at running things.

  17. helochick says:

farside67-GTP was saying the government jobs other than the armed services. GTP served as well, and so am I. He’s talking about the ones that sit behind a desk in DC, instead of ever fighting for our great country.

Di-what is your infatuation with Big Dick? Why don’t you ever add links to support the ridiculousness that you spit on everyone? I know who Clarke is, I haven’t read his book, nor do I plan to. Ever since Michael Moore I have a hard time reading books about the government. I get too angry, because it more often sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee, or someone that just wants to spread controversy. What makes him right and the people saying what he has said is inaccurate, wrong? Because he wrote a book? Luke, GTP, I’m making green eggs and ham, it’s in a book so it must be real. Want some?

How do you know what to believe?

  18. lukemcgook says:

I do not like green eggs and ham.

    But I believe you, Chick-I-Am.

  19. goodtimepolitics says:

I don’t like green food, so will pass! :)

  20. goodtimepolitics says:

Did you know that Oceans are cooling according to NASA? Two separate studies through NASA confirm that since 2003, the world’s oceans have been losing heat. In the peak of the recent warming trend, 1998 actually ranked 2nd to 1934 as the warmest year on record.

Oh I know its off the subject at hand, but I just wanted to ask “where is Gore?”

  • Where I’m coming from!

As a person that's been around the country and seen what America was and now what she has became makes me sick. I keep up with the news and what's going on and try to state my opinion of the way I feel about the U.S. Government and the way it's dictating our every day personal lives. I'm not a conservative or am I a liberal, just call me a good American citizen that will vote for the person based on their past history. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the post I make.
