Illinois First Lady Patricia Blagojevich, Obama, Antonin “Tony” Rezko
The first lady allegedly suggested that she is qualified to sit on corporate boards. The governor discussed on a phone call later in the day whether Obama could get his wife a job on a corporate board immediately, according to the document.
The newspaper also reported that Mrs. Blagojevich also had a long business relationship with Antonin “Tony” Rezko, the Chicago developer and former Obama fundraiser who was convicted on fraud charges earlier this year. The Blagojeviches reportedly refuse to disclose how much the real estate company made off Rezko.
Asked if anyone else would be charged in connection with this case, FBI spokesman Frank Bochte told FOX News, “This investigation certainly is not over. It’s ongoing.”
Patricia Blagojevich is a licensed real estate broker and appraiser, and has an economics degree from the University of Illinois.

That’s the reason that the fall of Gov. Rod Blagojevich is going to continue to haunt Obama, not to mention Chicago’s Democratic establishment where he built his roots. The President of the United States has a higher burden than just about any elected official anywhere. His staff will be called on by the press to account for all their conversations with Blagojevich and his aides. Obama will have to explain what he knew about these discussions. The bit players in the complaint, like the unnamed Senate Candidate 1 and Senate Candidate 5, will have to come forward and explain their involvement. If the investigation continues into next year, which seems likely, there may even be calls for the appointment of something like an independent counsel at the Justice Department to avoid any hint of political interference. Will Barack Obama name come out in this corruption and does Obama know more than he is saying? If or when this goes before a grand jury there will be many people named! The main stream media is doing its best to not suggest that Obama will be found to know more about this mess. But lately when something like this happens the names of Obama and Rezko is front and foremost in the news. I have always been told where there is smoke there is fire!

I swear I heard on one of the talk radio shows I listen to that Patty Blagojevich was the realestate agent for the Rezco-Obama land deal. Has anyone else heard that? I have not heard anyone else mention that.
I’ve heard that Patty Blago was the agent for a number of Rezko’s land deals, but I don’t believe I’ve heard that she was involved in the purchase of the Obama’s house.
I read something about that someplace, but now can not find it!

The “fashion show” was chaired by Rita Rezko, co-chaired by the Governor’s wife, Patti Blagojevich, and Michelle Obama was a special guest that day, according to Merriner.
Two weeks after the “fashion show,” on November 17, 2006, the Sun-Times reported that Blagojevich’s wife Patti got nearly $50,000 from a real estate deal in late 2002 involving Rezko.
In terms of dollar amounts of campaign contributions directly from Rezko in Illinois, the top four earners were, the now deceased President of the Cook County Board, John Stroger, Blagojevich, Chicago Mayor, Richard Daley, and Obama – in that order.
