UPDATE: DEC 11:

On Wednesday, December 10, 2008

On the same day the Supreme Court declined to hear one appeal challenging Barack Obama‘s right to become president because of questions about his citizenship, Justice Antonin Scalia distributed another appeal on the same issue for the court to consider.

The new case, Cort Wrotnowski v. Susan Bysiewicz, Connecticut Secretary of State, is scheduled to be discussed by the justices at their Dec. 12 private conference. They plan to decide whether to give the case a hearing – again on whether the British citizenship of Mr. Obama’s father makes the president-elect ineligible to assume the office.

UPDATE: DEC  8

Philip J Berg, Press Release, December 8, 2008, Injunction to stay Electoral Votes, US Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has denied the “dual citizenship” challenge of Leo Donofrio.
People this is not going away, until we the American people get an answer.  There is still another suit pending and we never know what may happen about it.  The Supreme Court has thrown the Constitution into the trash can by refusing to hear these cases of Obama’s citizenship, they have also open a new can of worms to allow anyone from any country to become president of The United States.  This country is no longer free!   Check this page out http://f2a.org/coast2coast/obamacitizenship.htm

  1. The Supremes may still be considering Alan Keyes’ suit. The lower courts’ mantra re these suits, including Donofrio’s, has been that the plaintiffs lack “standing” to challenge Baby O’s eligibility. It’ll be tougher to deny Keyes standing, since he was actually an opposing presidential candidate.

  2. If Obama thinks this will go away on its own then he has another thing coming. The American people wants the Constitution followed. The question here is do we have a Constitution or do we not have a Constitution?

  3. If the birth certificate matter is not resolved before Obama is sworn in, it will only continue to haunt him throughout his term in office.

What does he have to hide?????? What else is he hiding???????

  4. Without comment, so, presumably, it’s another case of lack of standing. If the Keyes case, otoh, gets tossed, then I suppose we’ll have to lobby congressmen to get action. But we’ll see the birth certificate sooner or later.

Now, back to the important question. What do you think Obama is hiding?

  5. Yet again: nothing. He’s already disclosed what he needs to disclose. Sorry your’e not personally satisfied with that.

Maybe, in his spare time, you and GTP could arrange to have Obama swing past your homes (sheds?) so you can personally talk with him, and he can get you every little thing you need.

    Like credibility? Like intelligence?

Lobby your congressmen all you want. The Electoral College was scheduled to vote in Obama today.

  6. I guess all that means you think he’s hiding the fact that he was born in Kenya. Me, too. I can’t think of anything else that would cause him to stonewall for as long as he has.

Btw, the main reason I’d like to see the original document is that, if he was born in Kenya, we can refer to him as “Kenyan dictator Barack Obama” for the next four years.

  7. Is he for hire? Wait a minute, I don’t think that Barack has the experience to do the work I do in my shed. But he might be handy in getting the people around here together for a cook out! Oh is his senate seat still for sale?
