UPDATE: Alan Keys has become the latest petitioner to challenge Obama’s birth certificate:
“The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state’s 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.”
More questions are raised due to Google’s seemingly deliberate attempt to quash this issue. Check out how Google is covering for Obama. Of all the tons of Obama Birth Certificate questions on the web, they seem to have set up their first found links of “Obama’s Birth Certificate” to go to phoney debunking sites and articles.

We all know that google is in the tank with Obama and eem to have been keeping information from getting out to the American people the same way the media seem to cover up information for Obama! Google has a steak in Obama being president it seem!
If you sign up for a Google News “alert,” you’ll get complete coverage once a day, in your email, including the sites that want to see the real evidence. And, as for Google having queered the search engine to cover up for Obama, keep in mind that a lot of people who voted for him are just now finding out about the holes in his past, so reassuring sites like FactCheck may really be the ones getting the traffic.
Oh, and “obama” plus “birth certificate” is what you want to sign up for when you subscribe to the alert.
Don’t forget this from awhile back by The WSJ: Google Inc. Chief Executive Eric Schmidt will hit the campaign trail this week on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, signaling Mr. Schmidt’s push for a greater voice in politics while giving the Obama campaign a boost from a highly desirable constituency.
Although the Internet-search company has numerous issues pending on Capitol Hill, Mr. Schmidt said in an interview that “I’m doing this personally,” adding that “Google is officially neutral” in the campaign. Mr. Schmidt visited Obama’s Chicago headquarters earlier this year and met with its tech and new-media team. “Eric was like a celebrity coming through here,” said Joe Rospars, Sen. Obama’s 27-year-old new-media director.

Because he’s done what he has to do. Because he’s produced a valid document — a document vouched for by the state agency that issues such documents in Hawaii — and that is and should be enough for any fair-minded individual. Because jumping through hoops to play in idiots’ sideshows is not something most people want to see a President do.
What he DOESN’T have to do is kowtow to every right wingnut who wants to make life unbearable.
I’d do the same thing: ignore the fringe elements, who you’ll never please anyway. Let the courts dismiss these bogus lawsuits — as they have done in every instance to date — and ignore, ignore, ignore. Move on to the real problems of America, which is what the vast majority of Americans want him to do.
diogenes, yes, but he hasn’t produced an actual birth certificate. What do you think is the reason for this? Seems an easy enough hoop to jump through, doesn’t it? After all, lots of us have embarassing college trnscripts or medical records, neither of which the O has produced, but what could be embarassing about a birth certificate?
Obama was born in Kenya, fathered by a man who was still married to another woman than his mother, and adopted by his Indonesian stepfather. It is as simple as to ask why it was not done right from the beginning, the showing of a valid birth certificate, if there was nothing wrong with it. But it was not. And the lawsuits to stop the seeking, and getting Hawaii to create a “privacy shield” secret” are some really good examples of the mans ability to be untruthful. As a nation we have been screwed, but as most of those did it to themselves…..
Stop using Google. Those who are concerned about Google’s scrubbing and hiding…. it starts with one, then urge everyone you know to stop. Then write the advertisers, tell them you will not buy their products. I am there.
