Now we see why Obama does not agree with off shore drilling and pushing for more ethanol production! He has a interest in the ethanol companies! This will be a big subject that will hit the news hard once it gets rolling along! This has something to do with why Obama is pushing for more taxes on the oil companies. The American people should call for an investigation into these ties with the ethanol companies.

Obama’s lead advisor on energy and environmental issues, Jason Grumet, came to the campaign from the National Commission on Energy Policy, a bipartisan initiative associated with Daschle and Bob Dole, the Kansas Republican who is also a former Senate majority leader and a big ethanol backer who had close ties to the agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland.Not long after arriving in the Senate, Obama himself briefly provoked a controversy by flying at subsidized rates on corporate airplanes, including twice on jets owned by Archer Daniels Midland, which is the nation’s largest ethanol producer and is based in his home state.

Hey GTP…thx for reading the Martin Amis article…I took two days to read it (it was hard to digest).
I kept a dictionary at hand (well, online at least).
But however much it challenged my vocabulary and knowledge…I realized that he is simply trying to expose us (you and me) to his world. His stuff is hard to read, but it makes sense if read slowly and carefully.
Same for all of us…we know what we are trying to say! But readers need to give us a break. It ain’t easy…but we are trying!
Put the hard stuff out there!

Or maybe Obama doesn’t support off-shore drilling because experts have pointed out its not a very good solution. Perhaps Obama supports ethanol because its a better solution.

Maybe Obama is listening to the most far left experts instead of all the experts in that field! Maybe Obama is a corrupt politician that has made a lier out of himself by saying so many things that he later says different! Obama is a fake, a lier and with no change, no hope just money and power hungery! He has changed his stand on all the issues and now looking more like President Bush than Sen. John McCain does! The change for good will come by way of John McCain!
