Far Left Liberal Candidate states he holds Conservative Views in Order to Win Power

May 14, 2008 · 13 Comments

Now Obama is wanting to court hard working white class Americans so to do so he would have to move from the Far Left where he is now back towards center.  To this American its lying about his position on the issues.  Would you still support him if he lied and said that he now holds Conservative Views in order to become president?  Other words would you support a lier now even before he becomes president knowing that once he is in office that he would lie about alot of other things?

I was always taught that once you tell a lie, that you have to tell another one to cover up the first one.

Well lets just see what Obama does about being a far left liberal that will have problems winning in November as such.  Good Luck Democrats, you have a problem.

But it is our problem! You have no problems with McCain?

I’m not really that happy with McCain! But its Obama that was away out there in Far left field and Hillary nearer to center, now that Obama wants the hard working white Americans he will lie to get their votes. Thats no better than what the democrats called President Bush a lier, remember? But Obama hasn’t done that yet but I ask will he lie to get votes? I notice that Edward another far left nut has endorse Obama. Thanks for the comment groetzinger.

You guys have some odd beliefs about left and right. Check out this on the Political Compass. It shows where the candidates really stand. What we have in this election is not Left vs. Right or Republican vs. Democrat. We have Right vs Extreme Right and Republican vs. Extreme Republican. There are no candidates near enough to the center to even see it from where they stand. They’re all far right of center and too authoritarian as well.

When you’re done with that, take the test (link in the upper left of the page) to see where you end up, you may find it interesting.

The problem with your thinking is that we should be like Europe and we’re not like the political landscape of Europe and don’t care to be. Obama is far left liberal and John Edwards is right there with him.

So, which McCain do you like?

The one who sees the troops coming home by 2013? http://tinyurl.com/5ewrus

Or, do you prefer the McCain that wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFknKVjuyNk

Tough choice. I’d pick neither. If you don’t like lies, you’ll have to pick neither too.

I really am not that fond of McCain, its just he is the better of the three evils! Sinning his comment about the 100 years is old, he was referring to keeping troops there like we did in SK and Japan and many other European countries! Obama has told more lies than Bush, Hillary and McCain all together!

Sinning should have been spinning! Sorry!

Yup. We all make minor offenses out of the offenses of the candidates we like and major offenses out of the offenses of candidates we don’t like. This is not new. You like McCain so you belittle his faults. I hate him so I maximize them.

IMNSHO, the last thing we need is another 4 years of Bush. And McCain just might be worse than Bush. See if you can tell the difference between the two. I had a lot of trouble with these questions.

Yes you have that right! We pick on the little things of the one we don’t like and build up the one we do like! This election is another one of those that I don’t really like anyone of the three. I’m not so sure Bush was so bad, he had 9/11 happen just after he came into office where thousands of Americans were murder, and he had to deal with that and still is. Its hard on a leader when that happens on his/her watch!

It’s hard to really call all that happened on Bush’s watch pure happenstance when even the writers of theonion were able to predict the overall view of his presidency from the moment he took office. Check the date on this article. Remember, it was supposed to be humor. Yet, it totally nailed the next 8 years almost perfectly.

That I will totally disagree with you on, the only way anyone could predict anything about anyone that soon was if they didn’t like the person before they even got to know them. Sorry but that does not hold water!

And all the spin to change the subject from Barack Hussein Obama being a far left liberal isn’t going to put him to the middle! Obama is still very far left and even old Teddy can’t keep up with him and John Edwards! :)

    goodtimepolitics,

Would you mind citing a few examples of things that make Obama such a far left liberal in your mind? Personally, I’d welcome a far left liberal candidate. I just don’t see Obama being one.

Remember, the fact that the entire nation has shifted so far to the right that we can no longer see the center does not actually change where the center is.

You might be interested in some of the policies of an older icon of conservativism, Richard Nixon. I assume no one will argue that Nixon was a liberal.
