Mom & Pop Service Stations are having a problem with pumps!

May 12, 2008 · 1 Comment

I can remember back when the price of gas went above $1.00 a gallon and we had to double the price on the pumps because they would not register the correct price and here we are now having the same problem at $4.00 a gallon.  Its makes it alittle rough on the local owned service stations where we could go sit around and talk weather, politics and farming.  The Democrat control congress is the only one that can help and come up with a bill that will help bring the prices down.  The Farmers, truck drivers and owner plus the working Americans are going to start having real problems soon.  Then you city people will not have food and products in the stores that you can buy!  Write your congressmen today and tell them they have to do something now, or in November you will have to replace them with one that will do their job!

Mom & pop service stations are running into a problem as gasoline marches toward $4 a gallon: Thousands of old-fashioned pumps can’t register more than $3.99 on their spinning mechanical dials.

Truth Comes Out On Gas Prices At The Pumps!

May 12, 2008 · No Comments

From what I see the fuel pump price will keep going up and its what the government wants and the ones behind this would have to be Congress, yes a Congress control by the democrats.  We know for a fact that the president can not do anything about prices and that it take congress to pass bills that will help, will they? No they will not cause they’re trying to get people to slow down their demand for gas.  This all boils down to Al Gore making a big profit off the American people by pushing his globe warming.  He push to get grain used for fuel and now we have a big shortage of food around the World.  It takes alot of grain to make a gallon of fuel, but Al Gore don’t care cause he has said that he invested into companies that working with this.

(ABC NEWS) Diesel is used to move most of the world’s food, consumer and industrial goods via truck, ship and rail. Skyrocketing diesel prices are part of the reason food and consumer goods prices are so high. At truck stops, retail diesel prices rose 3.1 cents overnight to a record national average of $4.361 a gallon.

There’s an idea that we can’t change supply but we can change demand, and the only way to do that is to rally the market higher,” said James Cordier, founder of OptionSellers.com, a Tampa, Fla., trading firm.

This pushing higher prices at the pumps sound like a British thing, cause isn’t that what they did to slow down driving, taxed everything?  They have to pay to drive a car down town London, is it coming to that here?  In the UK they have a TV fee to own a tv set is it coiming to that here?  Who do you think is behind the fuel prices at the pumps?  Let us know by leaving a comment.
