Congress (We Need A Change)

May 10, 2008 · No Comments

Americans we need a change,  yes I said we need a change in Washington D.C.  The change we need is in congress.  The changes we made in 2004 wasn’t very good from what I see from the ratings.  So now what do we do?

Congress job ratings dropped below 30% in March 2007 and have now fallen below where they were before the Democrats took over.

In January 2007, 35% of Americans approved of Congress, a significant increase from the 21% who approved of Congress in December 2006. That December rating tied the lowest in the 12 years the Republicans controlled Congress from 1995 to 2006.

Approval rating for Democrat control Congress matches lowest ever recorded

Where is all the campaign promises that was gave to the American people during the 2004 elections?  Can anyone name just a few that congress has kept?

The far left liberals do alot of promising but they don’t fullfill tem do they democrats!  Obama is a far left  liberal so what makes you think he will be any different than the far left Liberals you have already elected to congress?  All he can offer is his beam of light for you to stand in with him, thats his hope which isn’t much as all.

Make it sound good

May 10, 2008 · No Comments

What do you want to hear from the politicians?  Do you think they are telling you the truth when they say we will lower the cost of gas at the pumps?  Or as Obama keeps saying while standing in that beam of light from the sky that he will give you hope?

Crippling gas prices and a deflating economy affect residents in Iowa, New Hampshire — and West Virginia, too.

Beckley residents Candie Bragg, Josh Johns and William Johns are not optimistic, either, and the three have chosen not to vote at all.

“It doesn’t matter what my vote says,” Bragg said. “(Politicians) get up and tell you they’re going to lower taxes, do all this, and it doesn’t happen. We’re almost paying $5 for a gallon of gas. … They tell you what you want to hear and make it sound good.”

“I’m not yet convinced that Barack Obama is more substance than fluff,”

May 10, 2008 · 34 Comments

I Goodtimepolitics have that feeling Obama has went counted his chickens before KFC could fry them!  You far left liberals are getting to cocky saying that Hillary Clinton is finished.  Call it hopeful thinking, hopeful wishing or just plain Obama hope, but Hillary has not and will not stop the fight until the last round when the bell rings.  Obama will not win West Virginia in November and the democrats have to win that state.  The WHITE hard working class Americans will make sure Obama does not win in November!

Clyde M. See Jr., a former Democratic speaker of the West Virginia House of Delegates and two-time gubernatorial candidate who heads a small law practice in Moorefield, the county seat. “He’s a fine speaker, mind you, but I’m still not sure he’s got the right stuff to win the general election.”The concerns of party members who live amid this rolling landscape of soybean fields, poultry plants and retirement cabins mirror those of many white Democrats nationwide: Some fear voters will be turned off by Obama’s black heritage. Others, they say, will find reason to doubt his patriotism or will perceive him to be an elitist.

Democrats must win West Virginia in November/Hillary 43 point lead over Obama!

May 10, 2008 · No Comments

Why would Obama not campaign in West Virginia?  I think maybe he knows he would lose big time where he did or not and its kind of like his voting record,  mark present instead of voting and it looks better he thinks.  Don’t campaign in West Virginia and it will look better for him because he can say well Hillary won only because he didn’t step foot inside the state!

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s top aides yesterday accused Sen. Barack Obama of ignoring West Virginia, saying Democrats must win the state in the fall and using her 43-point poll lead there as evidence that her longshot bid deserves to run its course.

Mr. Obama predicted a defeat in West Virginia on Tuesday, telling reporters Mrs. Clinton was likely to beat him by “significant margins,” in both West Virginia and in Kentucky on May 20. In Kentucky she is favored in polls by 34 points.

Mr. Wolfson noted that while the Clinton family has “actively” campaigned there, Mr. Obama hasn’t set foot in the state since March 20 and acts as if he “never heard of the place.”
